What Is The Load Capacity Of A Plastic Pallet?
Plastic pallets are used to bear weight so the loading capacity of a plastic pallet is very important. Each plastic pallet has its own load capacity (dynamic and static load) and weight. Depending on the purpose of use and weight of the product that will be put on it, customers will choose the most suitable type of pallet for their company.
The load capacity of a plastic pallet means the weight of the product it carries. Since plastic pallets are used for stacking, flooring, racking and combined with various types of forklifts such as hand pallet trucks, pallet jacks to lift or transport goods, they are designed with three main types of load capacity: dynamic load and static load and racking load.
The dynamic load capacity of a plastic pallet is the weight that it can bear while being moved by forklift, hand truck etc that's why it's called dynamic. The dynamic load capacity of a pallet, also known as the lifting capacity of a plastic pallet, and it's usually smaller than static load because it's on the floor and it can bear more weight.
The static load is the load capacity a plastic pallet has when it's on the floor or on static postion where it's not being moved. The static load capacity of a plastic pallet is much greater than the dynamic load capacity. The static capacity is ranging from 1000kg to 6000kg.
