Empire Precision Plastics (Rochester, NY), a leader in high-volume, injection-molded opaque and optic components, is pleased to announce the recent acquisition of assets from Advanced Mold & Tooling, based in Gates, NY. This strategic move significantly enhances Empire's tooling and manufacturing capabilities, particularly in building high-cavitation tools for diverse industries including medical, industrial, firearms, and electronics.

With the integration of state-of-the-art tool-making equipment, such as wire EDM and high-speed CNC milling, Empire Precision Plastics is set to expand the capacity of its in-house tool room significantly. The acquisition also includes several advanced molding machines, expected to quadruple the company's precision injection molding capacity and overall output.

In addition to these physical assets, Empire Precision Plastics has welcomed a wealth of talent, having onboarded a considerable number of designers, toolmakers, and specialists from Advanced. These new team members will bolster Empire's ability to offer specialized tooling-only services to a growing client base, further diversifying its service offerings.
