The “Special Cross-border E-Commerce Entering Enterprise” training program is a large-scale training activity for Qingdao's foreign trade companies commissioned by the Provincial Department of Commerce. The aim is to promote the transformation, upgrade and development of traditional foreign trade enterprises in Shandong Province through training, and realize the continuous growth of import and export business and cross-border e-commerce business in Shandong Province. As of now, 11 training sessions have been held, covering 1,200 foreign trade companies across the province and more than 2,300 trainees. The training includes cross-border e-commerce policy, how traditional foreign trade companies expand into cross-border e-commerce business, route selection of cross-border e-commerce platforms, overseas warehouse construction, cross-border payment for customs declaration and inspection and tax reporting, and cross-border e-commerce operations. Training teachers all have rich theoretical knowledge and practical experience. This training activity has led many traditional foreign trade companies to achieve a zero breakthrough in cross-border e-commerce business, and some companies have achieved tremendous growth in cross-border e-commerce business.
