Important Update: 2022 shipping carrier rate changes

As we approach the end of the holiday peak season, the carrier applied rates and surcharges will be ending soon. USPS will return to standard rates December 26th, 2021 while some FedEx increased surcharges will remain in place until January 16th, 2022.

The major carriers have also announced their rate changes for 2022. For your convenience, we're providing a summary of these rate increases below. As always, we continue to work closely with our carrier partners to provide you with the best shipping rates on eBay Labels. While the carriers have posted average increases, the actual change in the rate depends on the weight and zone. We encourage you to check the carrier rates to understand how these changes may impact your shipments.


Effective January 9, 2022, rates for the following USPS shipping services will increase an average of:

  • Priority Mail and Priority Mail Express-3.1% increase

  • First Class Package-8.8% increase

  • Priority Mail International- 3.7% increase

  • First Class Package International Service-4.2% increase


Effective January 3, 2022:

  • Rates for FedEx Ground, FedEx 2Day®, and FedEx Home Delivery® services-5.9% increase

  • FedEx Ground Economy-6.9% increase

  • Learn more about fedex rates, and remember shipping fee changes may apply to your shipment and affect your total shipping rate.


  • Rates on ebay for all services are not increasing at this time. We will keep you informed of any changes.

  • Shipping surcharges and fees changes may apply to your shipment and affect your total shipping rate.


  • eBay standard envelope rates are not increasing

  • eBay international standard delivery
