For a more permanent setup, secure the long channel to the bottom of the pallet cradle using machine screws, washers and locknuts. Once fixed, install the two end pieces and tighten their thumbscrews. This configuration keeps the bookend assembly in place for repeated roll storage and handling operations.
3. Secure Before Moving Loaded Pallets
Position both end pieces firmly against the rolls and tighten the thumbscrews by hand before moving the loaded pallet. Proper installation helps keep rolls restrained during handling and reduces the risk of unwanted movement.
