The Key Advantages of 38mm Hot Fill PET Preform

Built for 85°C Hot Filling

Bottle shape really matters after filling hot juice, herbal tea, or ready-to-drink tea. This PET preform takes care of that. It handles liquid filling temperatures around 85°C. The finished bottle won't easily shrink or deform.

±0.05 mm Wall Thickness Control

The wall thickness tolerance is kept within ±0.05 mm for each preform. In real blow molding production, this gives a steadier stretch and reduces problems such as uneven bottle bodies, unstable capacity, and higher scrap rates.

Food-Contact Grade PET Resin

Virgin PET resin is used for production. The material meets FDA 21 CFR 177.1630 and EU No. 10/2011 food contact requirements, with acetaldehyde controlled below 2 ppm. It is suitable for direct contact with juice, bottled water, sauces, and other food products.

Low Haze, Cleaner Bottle Look

With haze below 2%, the preform can produce a clear bottle after blowing. The liquid color remains visible through the bottle, which works well for orange juice, tea drinks, fruit drinks, and other products sold by appearance.

Clear Production and Delivery Schedule

The factory can produce more than 400,000 preforms per month. Regular sizes have stock support, with a standard lead time of 20–30 working days. If the order uses regular specifications, urgent shipment can be arranged within 15 working days after confirmation.

FAQ

Q: How is a hot-fill PET preform different from a standard PET preform?
A:It really comes down to the resin IV. Hot-fill grades take 0.80 to 0.88 dL/g resin. What this does is keep the blown bottle stable when you fill it at 80 to 95°C. Standard preforms are not built for that. They are mostly for water, cold drinks, or ambient-fill products.

 

Q: What machines are suitable for this 38/400 PET preform?
A:You can run this 38/400 preform on standard stretch blow molding lines. We are talking about Sidel, Krones, Nissei ASB, KHS, SMF and the like. The neck finish and gate structure are made to support ISBM and two-stage reheat blow molding.

 

Q: Do you offer machine setting support?
A:Yes we do. Send the machine model and bottle drawing over to us. The factory can then provide reference heating parameters for your trial production.

 

Q: Are samples available before mass production?
A:Yes. Qualified wholesale buyers can get in-stock samples. You do not pay for the sample itself, but the express freight is on you.
